Kommetjie has a fascinating history, from its origins as a fishing village and a camping spot for holidaymakers in the 1800s to the first house of 1903, to being home to the tallest lighthouse in South Africa, built around WWI.
Environment
Natural beauty, clean air, animal and bird life and our setting amidst fynbos, milkwoods, mountain and ocean are part of what makes Kommetjie so loved. See more in our Magazine, with more coming soon!
